From desert dunes to open seas, we’ve racked up miles, stories, and great memories in every time zone.
Here’s what’s coming up next:
The Basics: Welding Class
The Basics: Welding
Ever wanted to learn how to weld but didn’t know where to start? This class is for you. We’re creating a relaxed, supportive space where you can get hands-on with MIG welding and build confidence working with steel.
No prior experience? No problem. This beginner-friendly workshop is open to the public, and we’ll guide you through the fundamentals—safely, step by step. As a bonus, you’ll get to turn a real Porsche tow hook into a custom bottle opener and take it home with you.
Free for members. Open to the public for $20.
Come curious. Leave with sparks in your hair.
Long Beach Rally
Long Beach is home to countless hidden gems and unusual sights, so it's about time we headed back down there to check them out! This month's rally will take us through the Palos Verdes Penninsula's twisy roads, across the port of Los Angeles, and finally into old Long Beach for lunch.
This rally was designed by a previous Wanderwell rally participant (we're happy to help you design your own!) and along the way you'll see cultural icons, check out the oldest tattoo shop in America, and grab some killer food. What else do you want from a Saturday morning?
This is a shorter rally, and you won't need a co-pilot to search for clues or hidden sights - just a fun car and an open mind. So rustle those up and join us for this month's rally!
Sumo Rally
It's that time of year again! We're headed out on one of our most unique events this Saturday, May 9th! Come enjoy brunch, spectacular roads and scenery, and the largest sumo tournament in North America!
We've been going to the USA Sumo Open for 10 years now and it has never been a disappointment. Wrestlers from Japan, Mongolia, Russia, Egypt, Brazil, and right here in the USA compete in 150 back-to-back bouts to be crowned champion. We promise you'll be a sumo convert aftert this event.
The day will also include a fabulous modern Japenese brunch in Hermosa, cruising along the beach and Palos Verdes canyon roads, and of course the Sumo championship.
Velocity Invitational
America's greatest car culture event returns from May 29-31, 2026!
A bucket-list celebration of motorsport and car culture, where historic race cars mix with cutting-edge hypercars, concours classics, radical drift whips, and so much more. All presented up-close-and-personal with no velvet ropes to hold you back.
Pikes Peak
The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC), presented by Gran Turismo, also known as The Race to the Clouds, is an invitational automobile hill climb to the summit of Pikes Peak – America’s Mountain in Colorado, USA.
Members Tortilla Making Night
Come learn how to make tortillas, or show off your bomb masa skills at this member's event! You'll be making flour and corn tortillas under the guidance of our experts, starting from scratch before cooking up our tortillas and enjoying them with some fresh grilled tacos.
We have limited cooking spots, so sign up ASAP to get your spot!
Scavenger Hunt Rally
A co-pilot is required for this event
Why are you making me bring a co-pilot? Because this rally has been set up as a game: part scavenger hunt, part bingo, part Monte Carlo special stage. So bring a passenger who has good eyes and is good under (very light) pressure. This rally is about urban exploration and hidden roads.
We'll be meeting on Sunday morning at the not-too-early time of 8am in Chinatown before heading out into the wilds of East LA, Chavez Ravine, Pasadena, and more. You and your passenger will be asked to keep an eye out for famous, quirky, ugly, or just convienent landmarks that define the part of Los Angeles that has so much history to tell.
At the end of the drive, we'll gather up at lunch to tally who collected the most points and give that team $1000. Or nothing. We haven't quite decided yet. Either way, you'll have a great Saturday morning!
Workshop Open House
We’re opening up the Workshop for a night of grilled food, cold drinks, and good hangs. Whether you’re a member or just curious about the space, come kick back, meet some great folks, and enjoy a fun evening in the garage.
Check out our DIY garage space in the heart of Venice, meet our current members, and raid our fridge - what's not to like?
Bring your friends, bring your appetite, and we’ll see you there.

In this hands-on class we'll take you through the full process of performing a full compression and leakdown test to determine the health of an engine and how to tell whether it is time for a rebuild.
We hope you join us for this fun night!
Free for members. Open to the public for $10.

The Basics: Learn How To Paint Correct
You’ve mastered the basics of a proper car wash—now it’s time to level up. This class at Wanderwell is all about paint correction: what it is, why it matters, and how to do it the right way.
Whether you’ve got light swirls in your clear coat or you’ve always wanted to learn how to use a polisher without fear, this beginner-friendly workshop will walk you through:
The science of paint correction — how it works and when it’s needed
Prepping your paint — what to check before you start
Correcting techniques — the do’s, don’ts, and how to avoid costly mistakes
Tools & products — polish vs. compound, foam vs. microfiber, and everything in between
This isn’t a concourse-level course—we’re keeping it approachable, practical, and hands-on. You’ll leave with the confidence to tackle paint correction on your own car, and for Wanderwell members, this class also means you’ll know exactly how to use our shop’s correction tools anytime you need them.
Whether you’re a member or just dropping in, you’ll walk away with skills that make your car look like new.
