Long Beach Rally
Long Beach is home to countless hidden gems and unusual sights, so it's about time we headed back down there to check them out! This month's rally will take us through the Palos Verdes Penninsula's twisy roads, across the port of Los Angeles, and finally into old Long Beach for lunch.
This rally was designed by a previous Wanderwell rally participant (we're happy to help you design your own!) and along the way you'll see cultural icons, check out the oldest tattoo shop in America, and grab some killer food. What else do you want from a Saturday morning?
This is a shorter rally, and you won't need a co-pilot to search for clues or hidden sights - just a fun car and an open mind. So rustle those up and join us for this month's rally!

The Basics: How to Perform a Smoke Test
A common cause of poor running or failed SMOG tests is a leak in your engine's vacuum or intake system - and one of the best ways to find these leaks is a smoke test!
We'll help you jump into the world of smoke testing with this fun, hands-on session. We'll have a car mocked up with a leak for the class to find together and diagnose, as well as walking everyone through setting up the smoke machine and alternative tests to run.
Perfect for beginners looking to get hands-on experience and boost their testing skills. Join us for a fun evening of testing!

Expect friendly rivalries, chaotic pit lanes, and bragging rights that last way longer than the race. Whether you're gunning for the podium or just out to have a blast, this event always delivers.
All skill levels welcome—just bring the energy (and maybe a helmet if you’ve got one). Spots are limited and this one always fills up, so grab your teammate and lock it in.

Scavenger Hunt Rally
A co-pilot is required for this event
Why are you making me bring a co-pilot? Because this rally has been set up as a game: part scavenger hunt, part bingo, part Monte Carlo special stage. So bring a passenger who has good eyes and is good under (very light) pressure. This rally is about urban exploration and hidden roads.
We'll be meeting on Sunday morning at the not-too-early time of 8am in Chinatown before heading out into the wilds of East LA, Chavez Ravine, Pasadena, and more. You and your passenger will be asked to keep an eye out for famous, quirky, ugly, or just convienent landmarks that define the part of Los Angeles that has so much history to tell.
At the end of the drive, we'll gather up at lunch to tally who collected the most points and give that team $1000. Or nothing. We haven't quite decided yet. Either way, you'll have a great Saturday morning!
